As I write this, I have “One Last Time” from Hamilton running through my head, because well I’m a HISP major, what else am I suppose to have running through my head? But in all seriousness, today is my final full day in Paris, so I decided to take some time to reflect on the trip, and I did it the only way I knew how, under the beauty of Notre Dame.

This trip, without a doubt, was the best trip I’ve ever been on. Even though I’ve been in Paris for a month, there are still a few things I was not able to do for various reasons, just proving how vast the city really is. But that said, every experience I did get were ones I’ll never forget. It was both a pleasure and a privilege to be shown around the city by Professor Smith while she lectured almost every inch of it. I can now say that I have sufficient knowledge about the city to annoy anybody that dares come with me on my next visit (you did your job, Smith).
I hope to come back within the next few years with some of my friends or family, but for the time being, enjoy some pictures of me around France.

The shopping areas in Bercy were obligatory photoshoot areas

I bought the beret specifically for the photo

Strasbourg was one of the most beautiful areas I’ve ever been to

Wall in Montmartre with “I Love You” written in over a hundred languages

We had a scavenger hunt and this was one of the hardest things to find (my expression pretty much sums that up)

This was around the corner from the church I went to

Speaking of church

No explanation needed, I threw elbows to in front and I was going to prove it

I wasn’t expecting how hot the bench was

I was too broke to go in

Way better than the regular Mickey Mouse ears

I didn’t realize the castle was Sleeping Beauty’s, I always thought it was Cinderella’s

Also part of the scavenger hunt, and yes I bought a new beret for the photo

Outside the French equivalent of the Center for Historic Preservation
Which reminds me of something, if any students from the department find this post and are still debating on whether or not they want to go on the trip, go, you’ll never experience anything like this again.
